Batman: Every Screen Batmobile Ranked From Worst To Best

9. The Dark Knight Trilogy

While not being notable is an issue, it's still better than being flat out unappealing to look at, which of course is where we stand with the batmobile of the Nolan Batman trilogy, better known as the Tumbler.

The Nolan trilogy, for as genuinely great as it is in MANY respects, also set some unfortunate trends for the Batman mythos. One of those trends is making the batmobile less of a car and more like a particularly acrobatic tank, which is just nowhere near as fun as a badass car. While the tumbler has enough awesome moments to keep it from dead last on this list, its whole design runs counter to everything Batman traditionally is supposed to be.

Not only that, but it also kinda breaks the lore. With your average batmobile, Bruce can just augment a normal sports car he has in his garage of hundreds or buy one through a shell company if he really wants to avoid suspicion, and modify it that way.

But the tumbler is a straight up tank, you'd need some real connections and money to throw around to make something like this, which narrows the suspect list somewhat.
