Batman: Gotham By Gaslight - 10 Ways It Could Save DC's Animated Films

7. Bruce Greenwood Back As Batman

The last time we saw Bruce Greenwood under the cowl, it was in the prematurely cancelled (though thankfully revived) Young Justice. He had, of course, made a trailblazing appearance as the character in Under the Red Hood, but we've not heard from his Batman since, in part because WB are keen on experimenting with different voice actors for different kinds of Batmen.

He's back again, however, and so you can see why we're feeling optimistic. Greenwood is yet to lend his voice to a bad DC project (granted he's only done two, but still), and he certainly makes for a great Dark Knight. Better yet, we're going to get the chance to hear his rendition of Bruce Wayne this time too, departing from his previous appearances where the duality of the character was somewhat shirked.

It must be fun for Greenwood, especially in this kind of setting. And while we are, of course, hoping that more actors get a stab at the Dark Knight at some point in the future, it's nice to have the Star Trek actor back in the role.
