6. Ben Affleck Is Playing Deathstoke
It would be remiss not to mention the single most talked about recent rumour, even if it is utter hogwash. According to one zany theory, Ben Affleck isn't playing Bruce Wayne in Batman V Superman, he's actually playing Slade Wilson AKA Deathstroke in disguise as Batman, and Christian Bale is coming back as the real Batman. The supposed evidence relates to the fact that he's done it before - in the 2005 Wanted storyline in Outsiders - and the fact that the new Batsuit sort of looks like the one in that comic. The Nolan link comes through Joker - who is actually a traumatized John Blake working with Deathstroke. Oh and the V in the title is actually a 5, indicating this is actually the fifth film in Nolan's series (including Man Of Steel), which clearly ignores the fact that Batman 5 Superman makes no bloody sense. Rating: 0/10 Come on, now, it is insanity. Ok, so there's definitely something compelling in the "do you bleed" parallel with Deathstroke's catchphrase "I will make you bleed" in Injustice, and the suit he wore as the Batman charlatan was similar, but it's all too reaching. It would be the worst kind of bait-and-switch, and it's all based entirely on the fact that people still aren't convinced on the casting.
