5. Whats Dianas Interest In The Conflict?
Wonder Womans involvement in the film has raised a lot of questions. Her position as an antiquities dealer likely sets her up to stay in touch with her history and relationship to Greek mythology, but it indicates nothing about her true purpose. Is she on a fact-finding mission for the Amazons or has she been exiled from their home island of Themyscira? She will ultimately be a friend in the long run, but that hardly guarantees she doesnt have ulterior motives when entering the fray. There's a reason she's interested in helping these two heroes. The real question is: why now? At this point in the film, Batman has been fighting crime for decades and Superman will have been public for years as well. Had she wanted to vet them as heroes or get in contact them about forming the Justice League, shed have had plenty of time to do so already. Somethings got to give as to why she involves herself and the reason cant become clear fast enough. And speaking of Wonder Woman...
