4. We Already Know Too Much
The Concern: Despite having seen only a few minutes of footage in this new trailer, it feels like a lot of the film has been revealed. Specifically, the entire makings of the third act appear to have been given away in this newest trailer. Constructing a good trailer is a tricky balancing act, where fans want to see new things revealed but at the same time dont want to see too much. Still, at the end of the day its better to be teased than to be spoiled and Batman V Superman may have already failed in that regard. Why Theres Still Hope: Its entirely possible that the film hasnt revealed much of anything. Without having the entire movie laid out in full, theres no way of knowing how much has been shown. After all, Its not like any of this was really new information; Doomsday's inclusion was the worst kept secret since Franz Oberhauser. And if too much has been given away, so what? The premise of climactic fight between the Trinity and Doomsday is exactly what everyone was clamouring for, right?
