The Question: Doomsday shows up in the movie's third act and is ultimately "killed" by Superman, but considering how famous the supervillain is and how well known he is for hibernating, regenerating and then returning stronger, is this really the last we've seen of the baddie? The Likely Answer: Though Snyder has suggested that we may learn more about Doomsday's origins in Justice League, the fairly negative reception to the character so far may well keep him out of the DCEU for a while, if not forever (though with shooting due to start in mere weeks, there's not much time to make changes). Once we get a taste of more intelligent and charismatic villains like Darkseid and perhaps Brainiac sometime down the line, it's going to be tough to revert back to a pure brute like Doomsday, so we're going to go with yes, for better or for worse.
