Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice - 10 Major Concerns Fans Still Have

2. It's Getting Crowded

Don€™t let the title fool you, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is about far more than its two titular characters. We know Wonder Woman is also featured prominently in the film with Aquaman being a good bet as another hero scheduled to appear. Heroes need villains to fight so we can expect Lex Luthor to invite another antagonist to join him in the fray. Add in the other supporting characters, be they new or returning members from Man of Steel, and Batman v Superman starts to look awfully crowded. The funny thing about crowding concerns is they tend to only pop up regarding superhero movies. Most of the movies you see have to introduce several characters you€™ve never seen before and get you to care about what happens to at least a couple of them. This is all part of storytelling and other films in the superhero genre, like X-Men and Guardians of the Galaxy, have proven it can be done. The difference here is that a few of these characters have to be more than interesting within the context of this film. They have to capture enough of the audience€™s attention to inspire demand for solo movies. This version of Superman has already had his own movie and Batman never has trouble when it comes to hooking audiences, so the real challenges lie with Wonder Woman and Aquaman. Part of Batman v Superman€™s success will be measured by what it does for the two superheroes who did not get their names on the marquee. Batman and Superman are likely to be served well in the story, but Wonder Woman and Aquaman will need big enough chances to shine in their smaller roles to have moviegoers wanting to see more of them in Justice League and, eventually, in their own films.
