5. Gal Gadot As Wonder Woman

As the voices calling for a female led superhero movie get louder and louder, Wonder Woman becomes a pivotal character in the genre. Finding the right actress is critical not only to Batman v Superman, but to any potential Wonder Woman solo movie as well. Looking at Gal Gadot's filmography, it's hard to say with any certainty that Zack Snyder has found the right woman for the job. Aside from the inappropriate complaints about various body parts, there is some validity to the concerns surrounding Gadot's physicality. She can hit the gym for that and in all fairness, there are plenty of comic book appearances in which Wonder Woman has no more muscle mass than what Gadot is already sporting. Aesthetic issues are generally forgotten, so long as the performance is up to par. Gadot is best known for her work in Universal's Fast and Furious franchise. She is serviceable in those films, but that's not going to be good enough for Wonder Woman. Gadot will have to show a new level of skill if she is to have audiences walking out of Batman v Superman begging Warner Bros. to give Wonder Woman her own movie. She couldn't steal the show from Dominc Toretto and Brian O'Connor, but she'll need to take a couple scenes away from Batman and Superman in order to come across as the breakout sensation that she ought to be.
