5. She Could Be Playing Batwoman

This one is something of a stretch, but it's possible. Katherine Kane is Batwoman, a lesbian socialite by day and gothic crimefighter by night. Her self-titled comic series ran for 40 issues but was cancelled, the last issue going on sale last month. The character is unlikely to feature, especially with Wonder Woman, Cyborg, and maybe even Aquaman also jostling for attention, but her personality and appearance would at the very least make the choice of Jena Malone an inspired one. Kate Kane has an alternative and striking look, being very pale (almost to the point of being vampiric) with bright red hair and, as described in the comics, a "punk-psychobilly-goth" look. It would be very easy to picture Malone as a Kate Kane-style hero, with her pale skin and love of alternative culture, such as busking with her band, The Shoe, on street corners and under bridges. But of course, who's to say that Jena Malone would be playing a hero...
