3. Kryptonite Will Feature

Not from a set leak, but the rumour that Snyder would introduce the deadly green substance into the sequel has been considered "confirmed" for some time now. The assumption is that the presence of Metallo on an early version of the IMDB cast page suggested that he would be the means to introduce the material and then when set photos revealed Scoot McNairy with green-covered legs it seemed he would indeed be playing the cyborg. However, an Extra confirmed that McNairy is in fact playing Jimmy Olsen, and not his one-time co-worker John Corben, so that might be out of the question - unless the Extra was fed false information to protect leaks. It wouldn't be the first time. Either way, there have now been enough supposed leaks to suggest that Kryptonite is going to appear, particularly since Luthor is involved, and that there's a suggestion that things are going to go very wrong for Superman...
