Batman Vs. Two-Face Review: 7 Ups & 5 Downs

6. It's Another Fun Love Letter To Classic Batman

Batman Vs Two Face Robin Bam
Warner Bros.

Much like its predecessor Return of the Caped Crusaders, this film is a doting love letter to the tropes and tone of the 1960s Batman, from its entertainingly goofy aesthetic to its self-aware humour and almost cloyingly wholesome central heroes.

It certainly helps that West doesn't miss a beat as Batman and it's refreshing to have a silly, campy Dark Knight once again, but rather than just mercilessly poke fun at the original show, it is clearly made by and for fans, whether you grew up with it or just love all the Adam West Batman memes.

In short, if you're a fan of the West series, you're probably going to have a soft spot for this movie, no matter its many flaws.
