4. The Cast Is Frequently Wasted
Johnson and Efron proudly take center stage and Daddario has her moments, but most everyone else is thoroughly mis-utilised here.
Weirdly, the other three Baywatch members actually disappear from the movie for about 20-or-so minutes at the midway point for no discernible reason, and later Johnson himself is even briefly sidelined, which is never a good thing.
That's to say nothing of comic genius Hannibal Buress, who gets one or two punchy one-liners before disappointingly exiting the film, and the cameos from David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson are pretty perfunctory, one-note affairs.
