20 Greatest Horror Movie Endings of the 2020s (So Far)
5. Influencers
Last year's horror sequel Influencers is a tight, fierce little sequel that goes gloriously off the deep end in the final stretch - in the best way possible.
In the bonkers climax, serial killer CW (Cassandra Naud) and her target from the first film, Madison (Emily Tennant), get into a fight, after which Madison uses CW's phone to locate her secret hideout.
Meanwhile, CW stabs toxic streamer-bro Jacob (Jonathan Whitesell) to death, unaware that Madison has accessed her computer and remotely activated Jacob's livestream, broadcasting the murder to the world.
Realising this, an incensed CW goes absolutely feral on Jacob's arriving entourage, killing Jacob's best pal and chasing down the rest of the group as the end credits roll.
That's certainly one hell of a way to raise the bar from the original's ending, and tee up a potential third film where CW has been exposed and now has nowhere to hide.
