While there's a good chance you've at least heard of most of the movies on this list, who among us ever heard anything about 2024's Fly Me to the Moon?

Despite being a $100 million historical romantic dramedy starring Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum set against the Apollo 11 moon landing, you'd barely know this thing came out considering the absolutely meagre marketing push it was given by Apple and Sony.

The film ended up grossing just $42 million, a result of not only the shoddy marketing but also a budget that was simply too big for a film whose subject matter gave it undeniably limited appeal on the big screen.

Releasing in the middle of the summer, where audiences had many bigger, frothier blockbuster options to choose from, it was incredibly easy for even interested parties to just wait for the streaming release, which is evidently what most of them did.
