Birds Of Prey - 10 Reasons To Be Excited

2. Black Canary And Huntress

This won't be the first time that Huntress and Black Canary have appeared together in live-action, having also led the infamous Birds of Prey series in the early 2000s, which interestingly had Harley Quinn as the big bad, as well as being prominent members on CW's Arrow. However, it will be the first time that they appear in a feature film and that's more than enough reason to celebrate.

Both Black Canary and Huntress have been crucial heroes in the comics since their inception, with Canary even being one of the founding members of the Justice League and one of oldest female superheroes of all time. And yet, neither of them have really gotten the recognition that they deserve in the mainstream.

Huntress - the lesser known of the two - has been integral to the Batman mythos in pretty much every DC era. For Birds of Prey, Huntress' tragic ties to the mob will make her a force to be reckoned with and bring some needed emotional weight to the film.
