5. Boomerang's Mugshot
Most people who have seen Birds of Prey and the Fabtabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn are likely at least aware of her previous feature in the infamous Suicide Squad film. If so, they're likely also familiar with Captain Boomerang, played by Jai Courtney.
Even with all this knowledge, you could easily not realise the blink-and-you-miss-it reference to the Suicide Squad that takes places in the new film. When Harley is leaving the Gotham police station, she remarks he knows one of the guys on a wanted poster.
Said poster features a shot of none other than ol' George Harkness, in all his black and white glory. You have to give the production team credit for having the steel balls to reference DC's biggest film flop without ripping into the previous film in any way.
