Natalie Dormer may have already graced the genre for a brief cameo in the MCU, but in terms of portraying a big comic book character, DC offers some massive opportunities.
Lady Blackhawk is already set to appear in Steven Spielberg's newly announced adaptation of DC's Blackhawks, and while it's likely the character of Zinda Blake would make her full appearance there, she should be a key part of Birds of Prey too. She was one of the team's foremost members, and with Dormer herself having brought to life so many historical roles before, playing a woman out of time ala Steve Rogers would be right up her alley. There's also the matter of her roles in both Game of Thrones and The Hunger Games, where Dormer commands climactic action sequences with ease.
Both elements are fairly integral to Blackhawk's character, and while the hero's one of the more obscure members on the team, a swift introduction in Blackhawks, followed by another in Birds of Prey, is a surefire way of making Zinda DC's next heroine stand out over her cohorts.
