7. It's The Most Beautiful Marvel Film Yet

The only other Marvel film that really got experimental with its visuals was Doctor Strange, but in terms of sheer visual splendour, Black Panther is by far the best looking MCU feature yet.

Rachel Morrison, who previously received an Academy Award nod for Mudbound, is the woman responsible for making the film look as good as it does. The scenes on the Ancestral Plane - where T'Challa reunites with his father, T'Chaka - all boast this wonderful purple aesthetic, and it's a colour that ebbs throughout the film, right down to T'Challa's new Black Panther suit itself.

The film might get a little bit too CGI-y at times, but there's no denying the beauty on the screen. Wakanda looks incredible, the fight scenes are fast and frenetic, and there's a wide array of settings to ogle at too.

Beautifully shot, choreographed and displayed, Black Panther is gorgeous top to bottom.
