Black Widow: 10 Huge Questions We Still Have
1. What Will The Post Credit Scene Set Up?
There are several things that can be guaranteed with any Marvel Studios movie. The MCU's trademark blend of humour and action, incredible CGI, and at least two mid or post credit scenes, with the exception of Endgame. The latter have been integral through the last 23 movies for keeping interest in the next installment at the absolute maximum it could be.
There will likely be at least one scene purely there for comedy value during the credits of Black Widow, but there will surely be something to tease the future of the franchise. This may be something to further the Black Widow story, like Yelena taking the titular mantle for herself, or Melina becoming Iron Maiden.
It could however, be something completely different. Could we see Thaddeus Ross begin recruitment for the Thunderbolts? Perhaps a glimpse at the next MCU movie on the slate, Eternals, in a similar way to Doctor Strange's post credits taking a scene directly from Thor: Ragnarok.
This could also be a chance, for Marvel Studios to tease something they've never been able to show properly before. Could a Black Widow post credit scene give us our best look yet into the world of Marvel's Disney+ corner of the MCU? Maybe something as simple as Bucky and Sam reminiscing over Nat, or a glimpse at Clint with Kate Bishop would be enough to ramp up excitement for any and all of Marvel's Disney+ shows.
