If you've read much about this movie at all, you're probably aware that it ends with a stunning montage sequence that's left audiences the world over shell-shocked.

No specifics here, but needless to say, it's a devastating masterclass of editing and brings the movie to a suitably sombre, thoughtful and upsetting close.

As hilarious as much of the movie is, the final sledgehammer-subtle punch in the gut is the ultimate reminder that the KKK aren't fun and games, and white nationalism continues to thrive boldly today.

It's an ending that's sure to stick with audiences for days if not weeks after the credits roll, and has probably guaranteed the film will be a strong contender for the Best Film Editing Oscar.
