Bond 24: 10 Things You Need To Know

6. There's Probably Going To Be A Ski Sequence

It was recently confirmed that one of the several location shoots for the movie will take place in the small Austrian village of Obertillach, with 300 cast and crew members due to arrive along with helicopters and planes to capture aerial shots. The shoot will reportedly be making use of the forest, some purpose-built buildings, and most enticingly, a piste. Of course, everyone knows what that means: Bond 24 is going to have another classic ski chase sequence. The Bond series has been wanting for a great ski chase scene for quite some time: the previous significant ski sequence in The World Is Not Enough was totally forgettable. Still, at their best, these scenes have delivered some of the strongest action in the entire Bond canon: On Her Majesty's Secret Service's numerous thrilling sequences on snow-topped slopes are as riveting as any set-piece from any Bond movie. If Bond 24 can capture some of that same excitement, then with such talented filmmakers at the helm, fans everywhere could be in for one of the most entertaining Bond chases ever, snow or not.
