Captain America: Civil War - 10 Big Implications Of Hulk & Thor's Absence

4. The Fight Will Be Fairer (Slightly)

In terms of power, the teams in Captain America: Civil War are incredibly weighted in Iron Man's favour. Vision alone should be able to defeat all of Captain America's team, but with the likes of Iron Man and War Machine also on the pro-legislation side, it really should be a massive stomp. In fact, there are characters on both sides who are effectively rendered redundant by their presence - Sharon Carter, Black Widow, Falcon and Bucky Barnes are among those who are out completely of their league here (without the assistance of plot-induced nerfing, of course). However, with the Hulk and Thor in the fight, certain weaker characters would have been rendered even more irrelevant than they appear already. You have to imagine Hulk would have sided with Iron Man, given Banner's aforementioned bromance with Stark, and regardless of where Thor ended up, that would only have made the fight more impossible to compete in for the street-levellers.
