8. Buckys Journey
Because the trailer opens with Cap and Falcon approaching Bucky (in a precursor to the Ant-Man credits scene), its assumed that this would happen early on into the film. The Russos, however, have confirmed that this comes around the middle, so this begs the question of what he's been up to since he was last seen in the Smithsonian? After all, just because its Caps first time seeing him in the story, doesnt mean its his first appearance in the film. Bucky seems to have arrived in Germany all on his own, but for what purpose? There's no clues as to what goals hes pursuing, beyond trying to regain his memory. Could it be like with Bourne, where hes re-tracing his steps of a mission he once undertook? Likewise, there are no indications as to his emotional state. He clearly remembers parts of his life but hes nowhere near the Bucky that appeared in The First Avenger, so hopefully that character arc will play out in the film, even if it was only hinted at during the trailer.
