7. Black Widow Vs. Hawkeye
The biggest source for information on the film thus far is the trailer that screened at the D23 Expo. One of the most notable scenes present in that trailer, but absent in this official one, was a brief confrontation between Black Widow and Hawkeye. The scene features the two fighting, when Hawkeye begins strangling her and she asks Were still friends right? before he responds, Depends how hard you hit me. Despite all that juicy footage, however, none of it was present here, and there was very little Hawkeye at all. Like any character exclusion, hopefully it speaks to the trailer's desire to highlight Captain Americas journey as opposed to speaking to Hawkeyes limited role in the film. And though their relationship is not as prominent as Cap and Tonys, its worth noting that they appear to be opposing sides of this conflict as well. Considering their long-standing history, this ought to make for a thrilling dynamic in the background of the film.
