Captain America: Civil War - 13 Big Questions From Super Bowl Spot

4. Will Black Widow Change Sides?

Black Widow looks pretty shocked by what she's seeing as she watches the carnage unfold at the airport. She's obviously seen a lot of this sort of thing in her time, and been involved in plenty, but now it looks as though it's really taking its toll. Is this what prompts her to join Tony's team? That she has had enough of the destruction caused by superheroes and their battles, and now agrees that they must be held to account? Or is it the reverse: she's already on Team Iron Man, but she's only now seeing the consequences of this accord and switches allegiance and joins Team Cap? After Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr., it's Scarlett Johansson who has top billing, and that may not be insignificant when it comes to the plot. It certainly suggests she will have a big part to play, much like in The Winter Soldier, and one way of doing that would be to make her a double agent, or at least someone who switches sides before the war is done.
