Captain America: Civil War - 9 Revelations For Spider-Man: Homecoming

1. He Has Tech Powers Even He Didn't Know About

In line with the idea that Tony Stark might have hidden features in his suit designed to monitor his powers and learn how to contain him, the end of Civil War actually sees Peter discover that there's a sort of AI system built into his Spidey suit. His surprise suggests he had absolutely no idea.

Hopefully that means the Stark suit will continue to yield more surprises (though moving too far away from Spidey's core powers too soon would be a bit distracting and needless). It would certainly fit with the Homecoming story arc that the film took its name from.

In that, Spidey first gets his hands on the black symbiote suit and he spends the immediate period after the Secret Wars events testing out the limits and capabilities of his new suit. If that's the only thing that the Homecoming comic gives to the film, it's no bad thing, as it effectively allows for us to get to know the character without having to see an origin.
