Captain America: Civil War Trailer - 8 Easter Eggs And References You Probably Missed

7. General Ross' New Hairstyle

After being MIA for ten films, last seen drowning his sorrows in a nonsensical Tony Stark cameo, William Hurt's General Ross makes a return in Captain America: Civil War as what appears to be a key force behind the Sokovia Accords and, by proxy, one of the film's key antagonists. This will likely be a surprise turn of events for many given how long it was since Hurt was last in the MCU - The Incredible Hulk has been pretty much ignored since it opened to the smallest box office of the MCU - but even those who do still religiously rewatch that Edward Norton misfire will spot something different about Thaddeus; instead of his thick white hair, he now sports a much more stylish quiff with grey and black streaks. Not just an attempt to make the potential future Red Hulk look a bit cooler, it also serves as a shout out to the character's style in various other materials, predominantly the nineties Spider-Man and Hulk cartoons.
