1. It'll Reportedly Redefine Superhero Movies

Although it needs to be taken with a pinch of salt, ScreenGeek made the following claim about Captain Marvel, coming from one of their sources:

"Wonder Woman was obviously considered a very important movie for women, but Captain Marvel is going to blow it away. It will completely redefine superhero movies – similar to how Marvel Studios changed everything back in 2008. If you thought Infinity War was a game-changer, you’re not ready for what’s coming in Captain Marvel."

It's a huge shout, but it does fit - to a degree - with what we know of the movie. It's certainly going to be a game-changer as far as the MCU goes in terms of it being its first female-led solo movie, and with the sheer power of Captain Marvel herself. But there's also the way it'll tie into Avengers 4, with Carol Danvers coming to save the universe, and the potential for more Skrull stories in the MCU as well.
