5. Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds)
Not really a villain in the comics by any stretch of the imagination, but certainly the antagonist in the X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie, this version of Deadpool was nothing short of horrific and has to be on this list. The character was absolutely butchered by the movie, having been granted a Frankenstein-esq mish-mash of powers that the comic book version simply doesn't have. And the fact that his mouth was ultimately sealed shut is so far removed from the smart-mouthed, witty and incredibly talkative Deadpool we know and love from the comics that it's utterly ridiculous. If rumours of a spin-off or reboot starring Deadpool are true, give us the 'Merc with a Mouth' we want to see or don't bother. Quote (prior to final transformation):"Great. Stuck in an elevator with five guys on a high-protein diet".
