As you go further down the list, it seems like like DC is trying to play catch up with Marvel, and more like they're surpassing the House Of Ideas. Audiences have been bemoaning the MCU's lack of a movie fronted by a female hero, despite the fact that Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow seems more than ready to move from supporting cast member to headliner, and it doesn't look like that's going to change any time soon. Warner Bros, meanwhile, are making the most of Gal Gadot's casting as Wonder Woman and the character's introduction in Dawn Of Justice by spinning her off into her own solo flick the following year. There's no details as to what the plot of the film would be or, more crucially, whether invisible jets will be involved. The one titbit about the Wonder Woman film that has filtered through, however, pertains to her origin story - rather than the earlier tale of her being magically formed out of clay, the film will take the recent retelling where she's the daughter of Zeus and, so, technically a demigod. Ironically, Marvel may have done the heavy lifting in getting audiences to accept mythical beings in their movies with Thor, leaving Gadot to go all in with the sort of Greek monster slaying the character's been up to in the comics as of late.
