Where do you go from there? Interestingly, it looks like Warner Bros are going to pump the breaks a little. Critics have been a little anxious about the amount of heroes being dumped into Dawn Of Justice, suggesting that DC are rushing a little to get up to speed with Marvel and their Avengers movies. Thankfully, it doesn't look like they're going to be leaping headfirst into the big crossover film, and are actually making some interesting choices in the construction of their Cinematic Universe - even if it puts it a little at odds with the shared setting for their TV shows on The CW, but more on that later. The second superhero film of 2016 will be directed by David Ayer (he of Training Day and End Of Watch fame), and will take things in a slightly different direction. Suicide Squad are pretty much what they sound like: a team sent on suicide missions for the government. Only the team is made up of C-list supervillains, making them a sort of comic book Dirty Dozen. In a strange turn of events, the team has actually already been introduced onto our screens recently, on Arrow. It remains to be seen if it'll be the same team, or a completely different iteration, of the Suicide Squad released in a couple of years.
