DC Extended Universe: 10 Post-Justice League Predictions

3. Green Lantern Corps Will Include Three Human Members

According to Steppenwolf, there are "no Lanterns" in Justice League, but expect Warner Bros to make up for that when the Green Lantern Corps movie hits in 2020.

The film will firmly establish the intergalactic police force in the DC Extended Universe, and potentially bring us three human ring bearers for the price of one.

Hal Jordan is likely to appear, to repair his tarnished reputation after Ryan Reynolds played him in 2011, but his fellow earthlings John Stewart and Kyle Rayner could also enlist in the Corps, ushering a trio of iconic heroes into the fold in one fell swoop.

In the original comics, Rayner succeeded Jordan as a Lantern after his predecessor controversially turned bad, but there's a strong possibility the movie will ignore this and position Hal as an experienced Lantern and Rayner and Stewart as rookie recruits.

Jordan's descent into evil as the villain Parallax was a hugely unpopular story, and therefore one the DCEU will swerve, possibly in favour of making him a mentor instead.
