2. Dick Grayson Will Become Batman In The DCEU
Barely a week goes by when Ben Affeck isn't linked with the DC Extended Universe exit, so Warner Bros will be seeking a new Caped Crusader at some point, most likely after the release of The Batman.
Batfleck's departure doesn't have to plunge the shared cinematic universe into chaos, as there's an organic way they could phase him out.
Dick Grayson, the original Robin, has a solo outing on the slate in the upcoming Nightwing, and this movie could be all about the passing of the torch, or at least kicking this process off.
Grayson has proven himself a worthy Batman stand-in in past comic books, and of all the candidates to inherit the cape and cowl on a permanent basis, he's established himself as the clear frontrunner.
Fans have seen countless interpretations of Batman on screen, and it will eventually be time for something different, like a version who isn't called Bruce Wayne.
This would be a bold move on Warner's part, but the fans would be behind it seen as it's Dick, a man who deserves a break on the big screen after the way he's been treated in the past.
