DC Fandome: 10 Things Fans Demand To See

Xolo Maridueña of Kobra Kai fame will soon bring the fan-favorite DC character Blue Beetle to life on HBO Max. The eponymous character, whose alter ego is Jaime Reyes, derives his superpowers from an alien scarab that hides in his spine, only coming out when danger threatens Reyes. The Scarab acts like an all-purpose utility belt, housing Reyes in a suit of mechanical armor, and creating various weapons for him to use in his fight against crime.

Fans want DC do to Blue Beetle right, especially since he will be DC Films' first Latinx superhero. Key to this will be Blue Beetle's costume, since it is a large part of what makes the character unique. While production has yet to begin on Blue Beetle, the fans want to see at least some character designs to get a hint at what's in store. If they get the costume right, then the fans will stoke the hype and deliver Blue Beetle a giant debut on HBO Max.
