DC FanDome Schedule: 10 Awesome Panels You Can't Afford To Miss

6. The Suicide Squad

DC FanDome Justice League
Warner Bros.

Luckily, The Suicide Squad finished shooting before Hollywood was put on lockdown, and that means writer and director James Gunn has spent the past few months putting the finishing touches to the sequel/reboot in time for its planned 2021 release date.

At 8pm, the filmmaker will be on hand to take fan questions, later bringing out Task Force X (likely a number of cast members) for what's described as, "a fast-paced, no-holds-barred Squad Showdown that tests every team member’s Squad knowledge — and survival skills."

There's no mention of a sneak peek, but if nothing else, confirmation about who each member of the cast is playing is a strong possibility. Still, as fun as this 30 minute panel sounds, it would be somewhat underwhelming if that's all DC FanDome delivers.

With that in mind, expect a sizzle reel or teaser of some sort so Warner Bros. can start building hype for The Suicide Squad ahead of its arrival in cinemas next summer.
