DCEU: 10 Mistakes Warner Bros. Has Made With Its DC Slate

The DC Extended Universe, the Arrowverse, the DC Universe streaming app, and HBO Max. All of them will soon have their own set of DC characters, but none of them will tie together, and they're all likely to feature different versions of the same characters.

For example, we'll see the Justice Society of America not only in the new Stargirl TV series, but Black Adam as well, while there will still be more than one version of characters like Black Canary, Superman, and The Flash. It's too much, and leads to a lot of problems, especially when Warner Bros. stops a show like Batwoman from being able to use Batman because they have plans for him on the big screen.

As a result, many of the people working on these shows have one hand tied behind their backs as major characters they should be able to use are busy elsewhere. It's all a complete muddle, and how Marvel Studios is doing things should serve as example of how you really build bridges between the big and small screens.
