DCEU: 21 In-Development Movies Ranked From Most To Least Likely

1. Lobo

Lobo DC
DC Comics

Chances Of It Happening: 1/10

A Lobo movie has been circulating for almost ten years, with Dwayne Johnson attached to star as the character at one point (a plan that was scrapped when he was cast as Black Adam).

But talks of a Lobo flick inside the current DCEU first began in 2016, when Wonder Woman scribe Jason Fuchs was tapped to write it.

Unfortunately, this is another case - to add to the handful of others on this list - of a project being somewhat announced, reported on, then going completely quiet. We heard nothing about Lobo for the remainder of 2016 and the entirety of 2017, and it wasn't until early 2018 that we finally got an update - and it wasn't good news.

That's Revenge Of The Fans editor-in-chief Mario Robles talking about the Deadshot and Lobo standalone movies. Please don't get your hopes up for either one.

Which of these proposed movies excites you the most? Let us know in the comments section!

Danny has been with WhatCulture for over ten years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. In 2022, he took charge of WhoCulture and has grown it into the biggest Doctor Who channel on YouTube, and one of the biggest Doctor Who communities on the web full-stop. He has been writing and video editing since his early teens, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers, off the back of a burning obsession with the Matt Smith era of the show. Like many his age, he first got into Doctor Who with the 2005 revival, but has since gone back and fallen in love with the classic years too. If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order, or to give you a random factoid about the making of Gridlock, Danny is the person to ask!
