11. Who Is "Russell"?

The plot seems to revolve around Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) protecting a young pyrokinetic mutant named Russell (Julian Dennison) from the clutches of Cable, but considering how the marketing has made no mention of his mutant/superhero alter-ego, what moniker will he ultimately choose to go by?

Prediction: A ton of superhero names have been thrown around for Russell's true identity, including Neal Shaara aka Thunderbird, and even Juggernaut.

However, given his preference for starting fires, the smart money is on Russell turning out to be either a rebooted version of Pyro, or Rusty Collins aka Firefist.

Of course, it's entirely possible we're all being firmly trolled and Russell is just...Russell, a new hero with his own power set. However, with the movie already having a regularly-named "hero" in Peter, it seems far more likely Russell will indeed be a name superhero.
