9. How Much Time Travel Is There?

With Cable in the mix, there's obviously going to be a time travel component to DP2's narrative, but how significant will it be?

Prediction: The trailers seem to show Cable fighting his way through a dystopian future before travelling back to our present in search of Russell.

Whether that's the entirety of the movie's time-jumping shenanigans is tough to say, because as tricky as it is to pull off, a property as meta as Deadpool is kinda perfect for it, with its ability to make fun of how confusing and nonsensical it can all become.

It'll probably be window dressing more than anything, with Cable using time travel to both arrive and leave the movie, but it'd also be a hugely missed opportunity if there weren't some time travel-related sight gags that somehow took advantage of Deadpool's unique fourth wall-breaking abilities.
