4. Cable Looks Like A Bad-Ass

As Fox have known since the very start of the marketing - hell, since the post-credits scene for Deadpool - Josh Brolin's Cable is a big draw for this movie. Not only is the actor a big deal - and a great for the cast - but the character has been a huge missing part from the X-Men movie universe since its inception. It's about time he got his chance to shine.

And just as he did in the last trailer, Cable looks like an absolute bad-ass here. It's no accident that they're definitely shooting for a Terminator vibe in this teaser (rather than making him the more sympathetic figure he appeared to be in the last), as it's the best way to frame him as a force of nature. And though he's likely to be a mix of monster and sympathetic heart in the final film, this is definitely a smart marketing hook.

Best of all, the issues with his Batman-like voice in the first trailer seem to have been toned down a little here (perhaps it's simply better line choice), so that's at least one minor concern addressed.
