3. It's a Guaranteed Epic
As Tarantino's career has grown, so to has the scope and scale of his films. It's the snowball effect in full operation; with Reservoir Dogs he was unproven and the limited scope of the film reflected that. But as he slowly proved his talent, proved his ability to generate box-office returns, he was steadily given more money and as such more artistic freedom to spread his creative wings and truly take flight. By Inglourious Basterds, the epic scope of Tarantino's movies has started to become almost dizzying. And Django Unchained promises to be his most epic outing yet; with Waltz and Foxx as the two leads journeying across a burgeoning America on horseback causing all kinds of untold carnage along the way.
