Doctor Strange 2: 10 Multiverse Cameos That Would Break The Internet

2. Chris Evans As Johnny Storm

It's easy to forget these days, but initially, there was a lot of apprehension surrounding the idea of Chris Evans playing Captain America.

Why? Well, his previous superhero outing (Human Torch/Johnny Storm in the 2005 and 2007 Fantastic Four movies) wasn't exactly a slam dunk. Evans might've been decent in the role, but the movies themselves were pretty bad, and what's more, they were fresh in people's minds when Cap was being cast in 2010.

But oh, how times change.

Ten years later and Evans is now the internet's darling, having cemented himself as the second-most popular (or most popular, depending on the fan) MCU character.

Beloved as he is, his Human Torch days are now viewed as a fun misstep rather than a total trainwreck, and bringing the character back for Multiverse Of Madness would be the ultimate proof that Marvel Studios knows what the fans want to see.

Convincing Evans will probably be difficult, but before he inevitably returns as Captain America - and before Johnny Storm joins the MCU proper - why not use this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to pay homage to his Fantastic Four days?
