Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness: 24 WTF Moments

One of Multiverse of Madness' more interesting ideas is that people's dreams are in fact windows into the lives of their multiversal selves - hence why Strange dreamed of America and Defender Strange at the start of the movie.

While it's a concept ripe for philosophical examination, it ultimately gets a pretty superficial treatment in the film.

It's good for a big laugh, though, when Wong (Benedict Wong) realises with horror that his recurring nightmare of being chased naked by a clown did, in fact, happen to a variant Wong out there somewhere.

The implications of dreams being real events taking place elsewhere in the multiverse are potentially staggering, so hopefully a future film or Disney+ series will circle back to it.
