Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness: Every Main Character Ranked From Worst To Best
6. Charles Xavier
Movie trailers are a double-edged sword, particularly when it comes to such potentially spoiler-riddled movies the MCU boasts. These teasers are needed to push excitement for a movie and sell tickets, and as such there has to be a certain amount of footage shown.
But come on, did you really have to ruin the fact that Professor X would be appearing as the first-ever mutant in the MCU?! His entrance was wonderfully dramatic, a good few minutes after the rest of the team, but everyone already knew what was coming.
Still, the face of Sir Patrick Stewart and his dulcet tones were heart-warming, and it was impossible not to get excited about the possibilities for the X-Men moving forward. Perhaps Xavier’s greatest moment in the movie came as he, clearly the leader and most powerful of the Illuminati, entered Wanda Maximoff’s mind.
The dialogue was a little clunky, but it showed the good in his heart, the pure power he holds in his mind, and just how powerful Wanda needed to be to overcome him and snap his neck.
