Dream Casting Quentin Tarantino's Casino Royale

3. Uma Thurman As Vesper Lynd

Tarantino Casino Royale
Regency Enterprises

Quentin Tarantino and Uma Thurman may not have worked together since Kill Bill almost two decades ago, but their iconic collaborations in both the two-part roaring rampage of revenge and Pulp Fiction will always see them inextricably linked.

Tarantino already admitted that he planned to have Thurman play the role of Vesper Lynd had he ever gotten the chance to make his spin on Casino Royale, and it's easy to see why he would have her in mind for the female lead. Smart, strong and more than capable of holding her own against 007 both physically and emotionally, the filmmaker's ability to write memorable and three-dimensional female characters would no doubt see her break down Bond's barriers much faster than it took Eva Green's Vesper.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
