2. Shang-Chi Meets The Avengers - Shang-Chi & The Legend Of The Ten Rings
While nobody was surprised with the success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Shang-Chi certainly had its doubters. However, it managed to crush every single uncertainty around it, delivering arguably the best origin story the MCU has seen since Iron Man.
The character was given an amazing introduction, was an immediate hit with fans, and clearly has a big future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fans didn’t even have to wait to see what this would entail as both he and Katy were brought through a Sling Ring portal by Wong to meet some other heavy hitters of the franchise.
The man we now know to be the Sorcerer Supreme brought Shang-Chi and Katy through to have a discussion with Bruce Banner and Carol Danvers regarding what exactly the Ten Rings were. This was the first time fans had seen either since the events of Avengers: Endgame, and it was a most welcome surprise.
Not only did it tease the mysterious Ten Rings calling out like a beacon to someone or something, it essentially confirmed that the titular hero will at least have some involvement with the Avengers in the future. This is something fans can get VERY excited about.
