Every Ben Affleck Movie Ranked From Worst To Best
40. Buffy The Vampire Slayer (1992)
Though this list generally doesn't include uncredited roles, Ben Affleck's performance in 1992's Buffy the Vampire Slayer absolutely must be discussed.
Joss Whedon's failed proto-version of Buffy, with Kristy Swanson playing the title role, was transformed far beyond his original scripted vision by both the director and the studio, as led him to eventually retool it for TV several years later.
But it's not a terrible film by any means: Swanson and the wider ensemble cast - especially Paul Reubens - are clearly having fun, even if they're constantly battling the slack direction and some of the script's more groan-worthy excesses.
But for many it remains most notable for Affleck's cameo as a basketball player, with the young actor visible on screen numerous times throughout his scene.
According to Affleck himself, though, even his single line of dialogue was re-recorded by another actor for some reason.
