Every Cillian Murphy Movie Ranked Worst To Best

Rarely the villain, Cillian Murphy's portrayal of legendary Batman foil Scarecrow was truly inspired, his performance terrifying, at times darkly hilarious, and legitimately intimidating because of just how unassuming he was under the mask.

Watching Scarecrow go toe-to-toe with the Caped Crusader in Batman Begins, smile on his face and gleeful evil in his heart, you can actually see Murphy having the time of his life. This was the start of his partnership with Nolan, continued briefly in the next two films of the Dark Knight trilogy, and what a brilliant start it was.

Now that he's scored his first Oscar nomination, here's to hoping we get more of Murphy playing the bad guy down the line, because this was downright delightful.
