Every DCEU Film Ranked From Worst To Best
3. Zack Snyder's Justice League
The best way to describe Zack Snyder's Justice League is that it's a satisfying and beautiful mess.
It is wildly uneven, the dialogue is inconsistent, not all of its plotlines feel properly structured or developed and it is self-indulgent, but it's also an incredibly interesting and sometimes brilliant four-hour superhero epic.
Not only is it an absolutely stunning work on a technical level (aside from some atrocious CGI), it's filled to the brim with imagination, terrific spectacle and a genuinely fascinating narrative that's full of brilliant ideas and effective emotional beats. In particular, everything to do with Cyborg (Ray Fisher) is superbly done.
Even though not all of the character moments work, the film hits far more often than it misses and culminates in a sensational climax.
Snyder's Justice League might not be a great film, but it's still pretty awesome and it is most certainly an incredibly satisfying and largely triumphant realization of Zack Snyder's original vision for the DCEU.
