EVERY Halloween Death RANKED By Stupidity

Ronald Prevo - Halloween Ends

Halloween Ends Ronald Prevo
Universal

While Corey Cunningham's mother was an a**hole, his stepfather Ronald was a lot kinder to Corey. Still, that didn't stop Ronald from getting killed in Halloween Ends, even if that death didn't come at the hands of either Corey or Michael Myers.

Instead, Ronald is fatally shot in the head by Terry, one of the bullies who'd been targetting Corey. This all takes place at Ronald's junkyard, where he himself had actually given Terry a shotgun for protection. As Ronald tries to calm Corey, Terry takes aim and tries to shoot Corey, only for the unfortunate Ronald to get in the way - taking a bullet straight through his forehead.

John Strode - Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers

Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers John Strode
Dimension Films

One of the more satisfying deaths of the franchise, John Strode is a vile, abusive man who spends the bulk of his screentime berating his wife, slapping his daughter, and having his young grandson pull a knife on him.

So, when John bites the bullet, you don't feel even remotely sorry for him.

As for that death, getting home to an empty house - after drink-driving home, no less - John rants about a lack of dinner waiting for him, before heading down to the basement to check why his property appears to have no power. And there, waiting for John, is Michael Myers, who stabs John, carries him across the room, and sticks him into an electricity board that brilliantly electrocutes John as he foams from the mouth and his head eventually explodes.

John Strode is a total dirtbag of a person, and Curse is a total stinker of a movie, but John's death is a genuine franchise highlight. In terms of how it ranks for stupidity, maybe the moral of the story here is to just be nicer to people, and hopefully karma takes care of the rest.

Nurse Wynn - Rob Zombie's Halloween

Dimension Films

If you work in Smith's Grove Sanitarium, chances are that you should be on the ball at all times, constantly on the lookout for possible trouble. Even more so, when you're dealing with a young psychopath who's been locked up after brutally killing four people.

Still, the murder of Nurse Wynn does come a little out of nowhere, with young Michael stabbing her to death with a fork while in Smith's Grove... which begs the question as to why you'd give a killer, even one so young, metal cutlery in the first place. Also, it kinda serves Nurse Wynn right for mocking Michael.
